Olivia Palermo’s New Look

We’re used to seeing Olivia Palermo looking like this. A gorgeous, ultra-chic girl with beautiful, long hair. In fact, many would say that her hair is equally as fabulous as her style. While attending the fashion shows in Europe, Olivia debuted a new, shorter look. She is stunning either way, but I feel like her hair was part of her signature. What do you think?

Olivia's incredible either way, but she looks much younger with shorter hair...

I love both. The long is younger, more sexy the shorter more chic and hip. So tempted to go short myself.

P.S. I love this... said...

I loved it long. It looked young and carefree.

I think she looks more mature and fashion-y with shorter hair. More of an exec than a model.

I was actually going to post this today...I think she looks prettier with the longer hair, but more fashion forward with the chopped. Does that make sense?

I totally agree with you! I prefer the longer waves. But the blunt cut does kind of go better with her personality :)

Olivia always looks so flawless. I love her long hair however this length looks very chic and I think it fits her...I've been seeing a lot of models sporting this haircut too, it's simple and it looks good.

kendall k ... totally agree. I have such a hard time saying anything nice about her. She comes off as such a bitch. She's beautiful on the outside but seems ruthless on the inside.

I am missing her long locks!

I like the longer hair better but the shorter look is starting to grow on me a bit.

I agree, Olivia's hair was definitely an important part of her personal style. I have long hair and have been thinking about cutting mine as well, I don't know if I wold go that short though!

I love her hair, and would die to have mine look like hers...but I must say, I really enjoy this change. It looks so much more chic and polished.

I love the longer wavy hair....but the short hair is sleek!

She looks amazing, she can pull off any look and hair style!

I like it! She did have gorgeous long hair though.

She looks ugly with short hair. But then again I think she has an ugly personality so it kind of matches!

I've always lusted after her hair but honestly she's so gorgeous and has such great style that she can pull of either :)

I think you may be right...I think it was part of her signature look. But, not anymore! Ha...

I like it but yes you are right, it was part of her! I think she might have wanted to get a more classic grown up look?

I'll be the only one who goes out on a limb to say she would be so much more lovely on the outside if she were lovely on the inside..

She's beautiful either way. I really liked it long though.

I hate to say it, but I think it makes her looks older, more stuffy...just overall more matronly. She is still beautiful of course, but doesn't have the same youthful appearance. (Disclaimer: I've never seen an episode of The Hills! I know most people who have dislike her!)

The short hair seems very ordinary, nothing too special. As much as it kills me to say it, she really does have fabulous hair- and style!

She's a natural beauty and carries off both looks well. She'd look just as beautiful with a pixie or buzz cut.

She is so gorgeous. She looks great both ways but Im so glad she is smart enough to keep her colour. Its so lovely. Love those high lace shoes. Fiona

She looks fabulous both ways. A little older with the short hair.

She is so stylish and lucky she can pull them both off.

My first reaction was "oh NO!" She is beautiful regardless but I'm partial to the longer locks with a bit of those gorgeous natural looking highlights. I guess it's a nice change for fall and winter.

I'm gonna go the opposite of what everyone else seems to say. I think the long hair made her look more L.A. in the New York world and the short hair makes her look more sophisticated.

She is gorg regardless! I did, however, think her long locks were a signature look!

I'm taking a picture to my stylist asap. I don't have the locks for her long do, but I can pull off this shorter look!!

She looks gorgeous either way. I think she looks a little older and more mature with the shorter hair. Definitely more polished. Love the handbags!

Although her long locks were gorgeous it was time for a new look and this shorter chopped look is perfect, just what Olivia needed to stay fresh.

Long hair for Olivia FTW...

She looks gorgeous in her long locks:)

I loved it long, but she is the picture of chic either way!

Hm, sort of digging the sleeker, shorter do.
It's more Parisian, whereas the long somehow feels more L.A.

I have long had a huge style crush on Olivia - I covet her entire closet, lol.

I loved her longer hair, and at first I didn't like the shorter hair - but that was because she was still trying to style it like her longer hair (with those gorgeous barrel curls she used to have). Now that she's decided to wear it straight, it looks fabulous.

I especially love the black, gold, camel and oatmeal look she has going on... Those Charlotte Olympia heels are just off the chain. And the color combo is so luxe.

bazaarofserendipity said...

Liked it better long! She still looks beautiful, but its to straight she needs to make it more wavy short and it would be chic

Cammie Callisto said...

She looks gorgeous with both long and short hair. I personally prefer the longer more playful hair and find the shorter hairdo a bit boring but it suits her.

Morgan said...

I love the shorter hair. I hate to think that people have to stay in one style because it is their "signature." Style is ever evolving. I love the new look!

carolyn said...

i'm a fan of the longer waves, the shorter look seems a little stuffy to me. although she totally kills it in the last two photos with a little (lot of) attitude.

I think that long look is old news. Love the new cut, it's super chic and I'm using it as inspiration for my next chop.
